XW 1970 FACTORY FAIRMONT SEDAN ROLLER
If you are looking for a good clean, straight, 99% rust free shell, then this is it! Don't waste your time and money restoring a rusted out heap. Or buying someone else's rusty project, and panel shops charge a fortune to repair rust.
Why not start with the best shell you can find. Check out the pictures, no rust in the torque boxes, plenum, sills, boot chanels, floor, lower windscreen sections - front & rear, battery tray. These areas have not been repaired, they are as they left the factory. I have found minor signs of rust in both rear lower quarter panels and the rear dog legs, but still amazing condition for a vehicle nearly 50 years old.
This 2-70 built Fairmont sedan roller, has been off the road for over 2 decades. It has been in dry storage, and is in extremely good condition.
The shell is one of the best that I have ever seen. There are no signs of structural damage or any type of major rust. The hang off panels do show signs of minor rust - but all easily fixed. The bonnet has been modified to suit a shaker.
It is complete with suspension, all hang off panels, rear screen, petrol tank, T-bar hump, steering column, grill, headlights and spare set of wheels.
