In 1982, XE 351 v8 was only available to order new in the form of ESP (178 built) and GL / s pack (approx 40 built) makes this car extremely hard to come by. Approx 500 XE 351 built in total (including ESP, GL, interceptor) makes a great investment.
Offered for sale is a rare factory T and L code XE S Pack. Believed to be one of only a handful built and one of 2 in this engine colour combination. This one being the only survivor.
Second owner of this vehicle which was sold new at Trio Ford Qld. Car has its original books and paperwork to go with it.
Car is unrestored, though has had an outside only paint at some stage of its life. Has recently undergone a full mechanical overhaul including.
Original Thermoquad Carb rebuild (correct 351 manual part numbers) fuel system flush clean and hoses replaced.
Complete brake system overhaul, including master cyl and caliper reconditioning, booster reconditioning. New discs bearings and pads fitted.
Clutch system, master and slave reconditioned. New clutch line, with braided section installed around headers.
Steering and suspension. New ball joints, tie rod ends, bushes, wheel bearings, etc. New pedders short bodied shocks and king springs superlow all round.
Reconditioned original 351 manual radiator, OG cast iron water pump recoed, thermostat housing, thermostat and hoses all round.
Alternator reconditioned and new belts fitted.
Power steering box and correct 351 xe power steering pump have both been reconditioned and installed.
Brand new black ceramic coated pacemaker try y headers and 3 inch exhaust system.
New plugs, leads and recoed distributor.
Wheels have been professionally painted. Original spare wheel fitted with its original Goodyear g800 +s tyre in the boot.
Previous owner had engine freshen up with receipts, also currently has t5 fitted in lieu of the single rail which drives excellent. Spare 351 single rail available to go with the car.
Trim is in original condition. No rips or tears. Original floor carpet, door trims and headlining still in the car.
Original cassette tape deck is in working order.
Body is in great shape. Absolutely no accident history. recent PDR of minor dents, door gap and repolish, new stripes and body moulds, car presents very well. Always kept dry.
Car presents as in original condition. Turn key and drive, nothing to spend.
