This particular example is a Factory 1972 Holden HQ Monaro GTS that has received a nut and bolt restoration, transforming it into a truly special HQ Monaro. The paint presents immaculately featuring the iconic GTS stripes finished in white. A reverse cowl is fitted, adding to the tough presence of this HQ. A set of Centerline Autodrags are fitted to each corner and are a great addition to the overall look.
The black vinyl with houndstooth insert trim presents beautifully, with a range of subtle additions that add to the driving experience. These include a console mounted B&M shifter and Autometer water temperature, oil pressure and tachometer gauges. Original style dash instrumentation and belt buckles, to name a few, are a familiar, welcoming touch to this HQ interior. This HQ even has electric windows.
This tough HQ now runs a 572ci solid roller Big Block V8 making 770hp, mounted to a Turbo 400 transmission and finishing off in the rear with a 9-inch differential with 35 spline and 3.89 gears.
